Our Ministry Services
At Still Waters Ministry, we provide affordable, faith-based postpartum care designed specifically for families engaged in full-time ministry or missions. Our support includes virtual education, in-home assistance, and 24-hour availability to meet your unique needs.
In-Home Doula Support
One of the most common Postpartum Doula services, is in-home care. This may look like 3+ hours of postpartum preparation and education, day-time care for mom and baby immediately after birth, and overnight infant care and feeding support. This in-home care can be 24 hours a day, with appropriate housing or up to 8 hours a day/night if preferred. In-home care may include assistance with lactation, hygiene, simple meals, infant care, and spiritual encouragement.
Virtual Care
We offer Virtual Care for families worldwide. This support may include video calls, phone calls, and communication via text. Parents will receive postpartum eduction, appropriate mrescouses, care package, and spiritual encouragement. This support may be most beneficial to missionary families overseas, pastoral staff with a strong community, or couples desiring more privacy during their postpartum journey.
Miscarriage and Infant Loss Help
Unfortunately, 1 in 4 women have experienced a miscarriage and approximately 1 in175 women experience a stillbirth. As difficult as this topic is, it is important that churches recognize the statistics and take part in the care of those who experience this difficult season. We have people on-call to pray with and support couples going through this hardship. As availability allows, we have sisters in Christ who are trained to walk with you through this process virtually or in person.
On-Call Support
Some families may just need prayer, encouragement, and mentorship. But as we all know, the days can be tough and the nights very long. Mothers don’t only need someone to talk to at 3:00pm, but sometimes at 3:00am as well. We are always available to pray with you or answer questions to the best of our ability.
